Competition/Project Based

Concrete Canoe TeamClub Room: Tent in ENGR Quad The concrete canoe team designs and constructs a full size canoe made entirely out of concrete. Students split up into different groups and work on a specific aspect of the project. There is a mix design team that compiles research about concrete, creates samples of concrete and then tests the samples. There is also a paddling team which practices every weekend to prepare for the concrete canoe competition in the Spring (hosted by UC Davis in 2015).
